Hey {{first_name}}
The amount of content I have consumed about AI over the past two years is actually insane.
For me, it is everywhere.
Every podcast.
Every newsletter.
Every software update.
Every event.
Every social media algorithm.
And as a business owner, AI feels like both our biggest opportunity and our biggest threat.
Get it right and it could completely change how we work.
Ignore it and there is that constant fear that everyone else is quietly racing ahead while you are still trying to work out what an AI agent actually does.
Busy?
Adam is probably going to give away a ton of Blend secrets in this DTCx live webinar.
We have spent the past couple of years working out where AI is genuinely useful, where it is complete bollocks and what it needs to know before it can produce anything worth using.
On 25 August, Adam is unpacking the three areas where we have seen the biggest shift.
I will not lie.
At times, AI has consumed me.
That feeling that we should be doing more.
Moving faster.
Testing another tool.
Building another automation.
Creating another agent.
Because we are constantly hearing:
AI is going to take our jobs.
You need AI in every workflow.
You need to automate everything.
You need to use agents.
You should vibe code our own software.
And every tool we already use now has AI baked into it.
Whether we asked for it or not.
But the more AI content I consumed, the more one thing became clear.
AI is useless without a use-case
Access to AI is not a helpful.
Building an agent that does something you never use is still a waste of time.
And vibe coding a piece of software nobody needs is still building a piece of software nobody needs.
It is like buying a garage full of power tools before deciding what you are trying to build.
At the end of the day you have spent a fortune.
But you are still standing in an empty room holding a drill.
So here is a ‘leg up’ for you
The Blend team has not been sitting around discussing what AI might do one day.
We have been putting it into the work.
Testing it.
Challenging it.
Figuring out where it helps.
Figuring out where it’s still lagging.
And learning what it needs so the output does not become another pile of AI slop.
Because AI can produce something that looks impressive, remarkably quickly.
But looking impressive and being impressive are two very different things.
Without the right information, data and context, it is just guessing with the confidence of a bad lawyer with an expensive suit.
It will lie to you with the straightest face.
It will produce polished work that gives you a ton of problems down the line.
And you’ll end up automating the wrong sh*t, all while burning your tokens faster Neil the Seal decimating a Tasmanian traffic cone.
Adam is oversharing…
On 25 August, Adam is speaking at DTCx: The AI Reality Check.
He is going to unpack the three big areas where our team has seen the most meaningful impact.
These are Blend secrets that I am fairly confident that Adam hasn’t got clearance from our board to give away.

P.S. If you have ever watched an AI demo and thought, “That looks impressive, but what the hell would I actually use it for?”, this session is for you.
P.P.S. There is a live Q&A. Bring the awkward questions. They are normally the most fun plus you’ll put Adam on the spot.
